1. Basic Structure and Characteristics
(1) Square valve body design
Optimized Space Layout: Compared with the traditional round valve body, the square structure is easier to install and maintain, especially suitable for piping layout with limited space.
High-strength pressure bearing: Using precision casting or welding, the pressure level can reach PN16~PN100 (grade 150~600).
(2) Fixed ball construction (trunnion mount)
The upper and lower support shafts are fixed: the ball is supported by the upper and lower valve stems to reduce friction, and the operating torque is reduced by more than 40% compared to the floating ball.
Bi-directional sealing: suitable for bi-directional fluid flow, the compaction level reaches API 6D Class A (zero leakage).
(3) Turbine Drive Device
Worm drive: driven by handwheel or reducer, save labor cost, suitable for DN50~DN600 (2"~24") valves.
Optional two-stage reduction: Large diameter (DN300 and above) can add a gearbox to further reduce the operating torque.
(4) Sealing system
Soft seal (PTFE/PEEK): Suitable for clean media such as water and oil at ≤150°C.
Metal Solid Seal (Stainless Steel Carbide): High temperature resistant (≤550°C), wear-resistant, suitable for steam and particle-containing media.
2. Typical Applications
● Oil and gas: oil pipelines, gas distribution stations
● Chemical industry: control of corrosive media (acids, alkalis, etc.)
● Water supply system: municipal water supply, sewage treatment plant
● Heating network: high-temperature hot water/steam pipelines
3. Installation and service points
● Before installation: Check the parallelism of the pipe flange to avoid forced alignment, which may cause the valve body to deform.
● Operation Testing: The valve needs to be fully opened/closed 3-5 times during the first use to ensure that the sealing surface is burnished.
● Regular maintenance: Check the lubrication of the turbine housing every 6 months and refill it if necessary.
