It is a threaded gate valve, mainly used to shut off or connect the fluid in the pipeline. It has a simple structure and good sealing properties, suitable for small-diameter and low-pressure piping systems.

1. Structure and principle of operation
● Main components: valve body, valve cover, gate, valve stem, handwheel (or actuator), seal.

● Working principle: When turning the handwheel, the valve stem makes the gate move up and down to achieve full opening or full closing of the fluid (the gate is perpendicular to the direction of the liquid).

● Fully open state: Low fluid resistance and low pressure loss.

● Fully Closed State: Good sealing, can completely shut off the flow of medium.

2. Connection Method
● Threaded connection:

Internal Thread: The valve body has a thread inside that matches the external thread of the pipe.

Male Thread: The valve body has a thread on the outside that matches the internal thread of the pipe.

● Common thread standards:

G Thread (BSPP, British Pipe Thread)

NPT Thread (American Tapered Pipe Thread)

Metric thread (e.g. M thread)
