1. Design features
● Two-piece valve body: The two parts of the valve body are connected by bolts or threads, which makes it easy to disassemble and maintain.
● Threaded connection: The two ends are connected by female thread (or external thread), which is suitable for small diameter pipes (such as DN15-DN50).
● Floating Ball Design: The ball is close to the valve seat under the pressure of the medium, which ensures the tightness.
● Anti-blowout valve stem design: Prevent the valve stem from accidentally disconnecting under high pressure conditions.
2. Principle of operation
● Rotate the valve stem (90°) using the handle or actuator to make the ball rotate.
● Open state: The through-hole of the ball is aligned with the pipeline, and the liquid passes through it.
● Closed state: The ball is rotated 90°, the through-hole is perpendicular to the pipeline, and the liquid is cut off.
