1. Principle of operation
● Rotating sphere structure: The valve core is a partial sphere that is driven by a transmission mechanism (such as worm gear, electric or pneumatic device) and moves eccentrically in the valve seat, gradually opening or closing the flow channel.
● Eccentric Design: Using the principle of geometric eccentricity, friction is reduced, zero wear of the sealing surface is achieved, and the service life is extended.
2. Main Features
● High-performance seal: Metal hard seal or soft seal is optional, resistant to high temperature and high pressure (up to 600°C/10MPa or more), and the leakage rate reaches ANSI VI level.
● Precise adjustment: The angle of rotation of the ball is linearly dependent on the flow rate, which is suitable for the conditions of precise adjustment.
● Anti-abrasion: Symmetrical fluid channel design reduces erosion of the sealing surface by high-speed media.
● Small Torque: The eccentric design reduces the working torque and can be equipped with a small drive.
3. Typical Applications
● Harsh working conditions: power plant desulphurization, coal-fired chemical industry, high-temperature steam system.
● Corrosive media: acid and alkali pipelines, petrochemical industry
● Granular media: sludge, mineral powder conveying system.
