1. Design features
● Three-piece Design: Consists of left valve body, right valve body and intermediate valve body (including valve seat and ball), which are bolted for easy disassembly and maintenance.
● Threaded connection: Both ends are connected by female thread (BSP, NPT, etc.) or male thread, suitable for small and medium-sized pipes (DN15-DN100).
● Fixed ball design (some models): The ball is fixed by the upper and lower valve stem to reduce the impact of medium pressure on the sealing surface and improve pressure resistance.
● Double seal: The valve seat usually uses PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) or metal solid seal to ensure zero leakage.
● Anti-blowout valve stem design: suitable for high-pressure environments to prevent accidental disconnection of the valve stem.
2. Principle of operation
● Opening: The handle or actuator is rotated 90°, the through-hole of the ball aligns with the pipeline, and the liquid passes through.
● Closure: The ball is rotated 90°, the through-hole is perpendicular to the pipeline, and the liquid is cut off.
● Flow Adjustment (Some Models): Flow control can be achieved by partial rotation.
3. Main advantages
